That was a great article. Actually they took the very same route up the mountain we did!
And it's true, there is a lot of suffering higher up on the mountain.

Here's the (long) article Sudi mentioned that goes along with the interactive graphic. I really enjoyed it, too.
I am glad I saw this video after Sudi climbed Kili.
Parts of Tom Bissel's oxygen deprivation narration is pretty unnerving. Apparently Sudi experienced similar events.

I think Tom had it worse, I didn't vomit until I came back down from the summit and was forced to eat some reheated rice and dodgy curry.
And although I was tired I was pretty coherent just in pain.
